Good Grief

There have been many times, especially recently, that I have looked to Good Grief for the right card, book, or bath item. The pre-curated boxes are a perfectly selected mix of thoughtful gifts. I recently made a mixed BYO for my little one & myself for extra TLC at bath times. It's perfect!

This is such a lovely company, I purchased their sitting with sadness cards for a friend and they loved them. Their care packages seem great as well. I love that this exists for helping support loved ones going through loss. So important

I purchased this book because I lost my beloved soul dog in Sept 2024 and was looking for outlets to process it. Pet loss grief has been the single-handedly most painful experience I have been through. A helpful tool in this book is the grief feelings wheel to assess where you are at this moment. I like that I have the option to work through the meditations in whichever way serves me. Lately I have been thinking of his last earthly day with us and keep replaying in my head and its traumatizing. This exercise helps me re-frame it by writing a letter to and from my beloved. I know I gave him the best day he could have possibly had, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like enough. I know Beth’s book will help me navigate this soul shattering journey I am on. Would highly recommend to anyone currently experiencing or knows someone that is.

I was thrilled to run across Good Grief when I turned to the internet to get ideas for how to help my daughter grieve the end of a 2-year relationship.

I liked the mix of “eff you” and more serene offerings, and was glad I had the flexibility to create my own care package based on her needs and personality. She loved it, I’m happy to say. If I ever need to send another care package for whatever reason, Good Grief will be my destination.

Sadly, I needed to support a friend who lost her mom and we live across the state. I wanted to get something thoughtful and different for her. She mentioned she was not sleeping well and this gift set was perfect with the eye mask and goodies. She said she instantly slept better with the NodPod and told her sister to buy one too!

Sometimes you may be hundreds of miles away from a loved one. This package provided an emotional hug for my cousin. She texted me as soon as it arrived and loved it. Thank you for providing a unique service for those grieving a loss.

Incredible customer service in a world where the smallest amount of customer service is a welcome surprise ( they were happy to modify my order slightly moments before it was shipped/ while standing in the post office). The gift itself actually made my sister smile and laugh for the first time in months.

The items available represent such a great variety of supportive and thoughtful gifts - I was so thankful for the opportunity to include truly helpful resources for grieving that were the perfect fit for my friend’s direct, no-nonsense, and hilarious personality. While I was choosing items for her gift basket, I noticed there were available options that were more serious or religious, which would be perfect for different important people in my life if/when they were experiencing a similar loss. I am truly thankful for this resource and I have told tons of people about it already! I will absolutely be a returning customer.

You have developed a way to speak to each individual’s unique grieving style, which gives a voice to family and friends who can’t figure out the “right thing” to do or say to show their support. When a friend across the country lost their beloved pet, this was the perfect to show my support from afar.

This box was perfect for my friend who was enduring an agonizing divorce. She loved this box, and she said she felt both love and a little laugh at her misery. Excellent gift!
